Beating Heart

It reeked of death
The stench of quietus
With mangled breath
In a naked room
Like moths
It died swiftly
In the winded months
Out of breath
You quelched my beating heart
Into pieces
Made of trembling
Browbeaten
Coerced into the transgression
Of your bewildering misdemeanour
The cowardice vandalism
Of my uninjured appendage
You were unwelcome
In the spaces where boundaries built boarders
But did not overlap
