Leap of Faith
There has always been a boundary
Between what is old and what is new
And what is few and far in between
The inherent contradiction
Reluctant in the loathing of possibilities
To leap with the unlikelihood of probationary periods
Of uncertain measure
To render in the threshold between a modern exhibit
of irrefutable convenience
The undertaking of comfort zones
Within reason of trial without error
Where hope floats
Of fellow feeling sort
And varying potential and prospect
Conviction speaks one’s piece
To suggest a leap of faith
in admitting the aversion for failure
To jump forward
Without the consideration
Of falling

And when I leave this placeHere I goOnward through to the meadowy lands
