ATONEMENT
A risk too ominous to bare
With fierce, poetic adventure
He leapt in a far-away woodland
With imperial reign
To salvage what he had left
Of his bequest
Of disposable women
Forlorn and desolate
He escapes the repercussion
Of defective compromise
Flawed and inadequate
In his atonement
That he seeks redemption
In the loins of the broken-hearted
“HE ESCAPES THE REPURCUSSION OF DEFECTIVE COMPROMISE”
