Heaven & Earth
Heaven don’t speak to me now
In prose made of unreachable dreams
In delicate dander
Angels with wings
And castles in the sky
Pieces of paradise
Scattered among the unlikely docket
The lies you serenade me
The unsound, unfounded lullaby
In your baseless supposition
Hark don’t preach the jargon
Made of silver linings
The discourse in your erroneous persiflage
Your speech unfounded
The language defective
I tune out the noise
Cover my ears
Like a child
Take me home
Where trueness resides
Where I belong
And the chaffing stood denuded
Bare the sitting duck
Heaven and earth
Take me home where I belong
I don’t mind the rain
