Farewell
Relieve me
As fragments of my painful memory
Pierce and press firm against my heart
From the entangled embroideries
Of your false identities and wreckage
Liberate me oh sovereign one
From the mockery and bondage
Of your archaic retribution
And treacherous enduring
Of unfathomable consequence
And bloody imposter
That sounds the disconcerted bewildering
Of endless monotony and divide
I hunger not for your continual citation
Of definitive verses and melody
With unbothered mood
And love me in the distant stillness
Of loathing recollect
As we tether our sails carefully
And the water breaks calmly against the shore
In this multitude of new beginnings
In this surrendering of didactic affection
I forgive your imperfections
Annoyance outraged
Placed them tenderly beside the anchorage
And set free the agony
With the wrath of my displeasure
And our open wounds
