SOUL THIEVES

Familiar but not the same
They will change you, surely my dear
In layers unlike the morning sun
Dimless and void like a shadow in the dark
Impending of doom and ruminative mood
They will alter you
On the days where your walls are low
At eye level and low altitude
Just below the tide
In an unholy struggle
Of dissimilar minds
They will blame you
Hold you accountable
For their own wrongdoing
And bad behaviour
Answerable to all things obliged
To misbehave improperly
Below board and in character
In hostile encounter
Belligerent in their predisposition
And thievery
